Message We are currently running a roadrace car with big turbos (HKS2530) cams etc and we switched from TT rear to NA gearing (same number virtually as the Leader gears). Just this simple switch resulted in 4 - 5 sec of a 1 min 40 sec track. The car comes on boost sooner, the gears are now closer together and the car basically stays "on the boil" more than it did before. IMO its a HUGE HUGE improvement especially with bigger turbos. i would highly recommend this setup.

The big reason we went NA vs Leader is WEIGHT. The TT rear subframe is about 100 lbs heavier than the NA subframe. Although its not as strong as the TT the NA setup is perfectly fine for a 600 whp road race car with no standing starts. I Also like the ability to choose from NISMO LSD's as required. They don't make it for the TT

IMO if you are drag racing or street driving your car the Leader gears will gaive you the same results as a NA rear and not break if you launch hard.

Reason for the $700 cost vs the 150 mustanfg parts ? Economes of scale and the target market. Basically Z guys will pay more for a given product.
